The requirements on energy meter data in the liberalised energy market have multiplied in proportion to the different market players and new regulations for data aquisition and transmission. The DLMS/COSEM Meter Protocol is the first ever international standardised meter language, it guarantees interoperability and data conformance between meters and systems from different manufacturers.

EuroDCS invites all developers, manufacturers and meter operators (utilities, test centers) to purchase the DLMS Conformance Test Tool developed by the DLMS User Association. It allows the functionality and correlation of meters' features to be tested for compliance with the DLMS/COSEM Standard and offically confirmed. The test provides a detailed report about which meter functions comply with the DLMS Standard. The DLMS User Association issues a certificate and a test symbol to be affixed to the meter.

An additional module, the CTT Log Module, to support the actual DLMS Conformance Test Tool, can be obtained from EuroDCS to create a log file. The additional module can be used to gain an exact analysis of error messages from the conformance test tool with details about the error source. The CTT Log Module is essential for efficient DLMS device development and considerably saves valuable development time.
