One Step Ahead towards the Future Since its foundation in 1975, IDS group has firmly established itself – through continuous innovation and optimisation – as one of the leading manufacturers of network management systems, SCADA systems, automation and telecontrol technology and IT solutions for network operation and control. Through expanding its portfolio by IT solutions for network planning and smart grids, IDS is pursuing a holistic approach in considering all aspects of intelligent networks and their management and operation. More than 2,000 customers from Germany and abroad, and from all sectors (energy supply, the water and wastewater industry, traffic control, authorities and industry), have faith in IDS system engineering and solutions. We provide our customers – mainly operators of distribution networks and municipal utility companies – with tailor-made integrated solutions from one source; if necessary, we are able to rely on selected specialist partners for the implementation of projects. IDS also has an excellent international reputation. For the implementation of projects abroad, we work in close cooperation with highly-skilled and reliable local partners who fulfil our high quality standards and offer the best possible service. The high quality of our integrable solutions and our comprehensive support is confirmed by the ISO 9001-2008 certificate issued by TÜV Management Service.

Growing together – Smartly and Individually IDS GmbH and GÖRLITZ AG are household names for the owners of energy supply networks on the European market. Through this merger, we are able to offer a unique competence portfolio to our customers, with the advantage that only one system is required for the supervision and control of the complete energy transport and distribution network, and for the metering and billing of energy flows. Thus, problems with interfaces have become a thing of the past. With nearly 600 employees in Germany and abroad, and a turnover of ca. 75 million Euros, the now expanded IDS Group will see a significant increase in international activities, especially on the European market.
